About Tim

The current owner, Tim Stenton, purchased Hillockhead in July 2018.

 

Despite originally being from Derbyshire, in England, he had been visiting the area on a regular basis for nearly 20 years prior to the move. A professional wildlife photographer and tour guide, Tim's first book, 'Moray Firth Dolphins' was published in 2013. He is a co-author of 'Europe's Sea Mammals', published in July 2019.

Tim lives on site and can provide advice on beer, whisky, dolphins, local attractions and walks..... in no particular order!
